It’sFelicia! What Was the Underground Railroad? by Yona Zeldis McDonough is the subject of today’s book review. I really enjoy the Grosset and Dunlap series, so that’s why I’m recommending it. I sneakily read a couple of articles online and one of these books before going on a date with my husband so that we have something to speak about other than the kids and their daily antics. They are fast readings that are filled with data and are engaging, which helps to keep my older daughter occupied while she flips through the pages.
