Residential Garbage Collection

Garbage pick up is EARLY Tuesday morning.

WEEKLY ALLOWANCE: Two (2) – 30/32 gallon CANS or BAGS. Toter cans are not allowed. Containers should not be overloaded.

EXCESS: Anything over the two (2) can/bag limit must have a Fuchs Sanitation garbage tag or sticker.  These are available for a cost of $1.75 each at Casey’s; City Hall; Cenex/Petro Serve USA or by mail from Fuchs Sanitation, Inc.

Example of items that will be picked up with tags/stickers:

  • Couch/Recliner (2 tags)
  • Small chair (1 tag)
  • Box spring (2 tags)
  • Mattress (2 tags) King size (4 tags)
  • Toilet (1 tag)
  • Dresser (2 tags)
  • Gas grill (no tank) (1-2 tags)
